My name is Melissa and I am the proud Owner and Operator

of Forever Paws Pet Cremations Gold Coast.

I have called the Gold Coast home since 1985 and for many years I worked as a Funeral Director — supporting families through some of their hardest goodbyes.  Whilst that role was deeply rewarding,

I knew my calling was to combine my experience with my lifelong love for animals.

The heartbreaking loss of my own beloved pet, Milo in 2020 changed everything.  That loss opened my eyes to a real gap in the services available for families grieving the loss of a cherished pet.  

I realised there was a need for a service that offered the same level of care, dignity and personal attention that we provide for human loss — but tailored specifically

for our beloved animal companions.

 

In December 2021, Forever Paws was born. From the very first family who entrusted me with their beautiful Ruby, my mission has been clear - to gently guide and support families through one of

life’s most difficult moments and to honour the bond they share with their pets.
